Syx Ticketing announces partnership with The Postal Museum

London’s Postal Museum will install Syx Ticketing and Point of Sale (POS) software at its ticket desk and at retail points throughout the museum.

The museum will also use a cloud-based version of Syx’s ReCreateX software to support online and group bookings.

ReCreateX allows users to process sales, manage registration for waiting lists and activities, organise group bookings and memberships.

It also gives users access to customer/membership histories and can track stock levels, sending automated notifications when items need to be repurchased.

Its interface is designed to be user-friendly and is fully adaptable to the customer’s needs.

Lauren Pattison, head of Operations at The Postal Museum, said: “We want to ensure a fantastic experience for our visitors, right down to the buying of tickets.”

Eddie Lee, UK sales manager at Syx Ticketing, said: “By using ReCreateX both in-house and on the web they will be able to enhance the visitor experience.”

The museum, due to open later this year, will feature exhibitions telling the story of ‘the first social network’.

It will also feature Mail Rail, an immersive, underground ride that takes guests through the original tunnels of the abandoned mail network.
